I don’t have a long history with this clinic. We’ve only been there 2-3 times but I have long stories to tell and big appreciations to give to them. The few times we’ve been there were at so critical moments that they truly became one of the most unforgettable and remarkable people of my life. I feel lucky to have found them. Yesterday our 11 year old Newfoundland Uma found a package of dark cocoa powder, opened it and licked it all out. I know that this is an emergency so I called the vet that is just 500 meters away from my home. We could easily walk there. They agreed that it is an emergency and needs to be treated immediately but unfortunately they were busy and didn’t have time for us. I was shocked to hear that. So I called Dierenartspraktijk Proosdijlanden. They are 7 km away from my home. Their response was, without hesitation, please come immediately. They asked the pet owners who had an appointment exactly at that time if they would be willing to give up their spot for an emergency and they were so kind to help. Thank god we were able to induce vomiting on time and the cocoa powder was flushed out. Uma is doing better now and I am very thankful. This clinic also rescued my previous dog, our Border Collie Cindy. I brought her last year, with mild complaints and a bit of a fever. Shuly didn’t take those mild complaints for granted and did a thorough examination. She suspected imha (Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia). The treatment was then continued by the Medisch Centrum voor Dieren. Thanks to Shuly we gained two more months and had the chance to fight and try everything that was on offer to save Cindy. Unfortunately we lost her at the end but if this clinic wasn’t this careful and would have sent us home with some paracetamol, Cindy would have died within a week.That would be much more painful. Thank you Dierenartspraktijk Proosdijlanden for always being there in the most critical moments 🙏🏻❤️

Ongelofelijk dankbaar dat ik met Mini hals over kop terecht kon in het weekend. Hele fijne dierenarts die kundig te werk gaat en geen overbodige dingen doet. Hele fijne en goede balans!
