NOTE UPDATED: WE ARE NOT INTO doing this and reporting people: FIRSTLY, These folks and the toxic environment down here say the lack of love for animals and greediness for manipulating people’s emotions for their pets and eventually getting the money, that’s it. I am writing this with a heavy heart, filled with anger, sorrow, and disbelief. Mamoosh’s condition has deteriorated to the point where euthanasia is now our only option THROUGH the Fault of MIKE HUBERS her surgeon. Her wound got wide open, exposing raw flesh, and we are left to watch her suffer—a suffering that could have been prevented if we had been given enough treatment and care from the beginning.

The Arrogant Surgeon MIKE HUBERS failed us and didn’t wanna take responsibility BUT they(MCD and the surgeons always amaze us by the way they LIE they seem nice but behind the mask, these people are NoT Animal friendly at all and all they care about is your money. They laugh and they are nice for draining you as much cash as possible but please please don’t trust them if you like your pet and if you don’t want them to suffer as much as my cat and my family did. They failed to communicate the severity of the surgery, the real risks, and the fact that there was a high chance Mamoosh would be left with massive open wounds. Not once were we warned that half of her body would be stripped of its skin..we called MCD on Wednesday after surgery. He took the call and said we had emergency cases( although i sent the picture of her open wound via email and they lied that we saw the image and it was not an emergency!!!!... 5mins later he called back and said oh my god this looks serious so let's make an appointment!!!! So we went there on Friday and my cat's main surgeon was on vacation and the other surgeon said, your cat is not my patient and there is nothing we can do…A day after that, we came back home from the supermarket, and we saw our dear cat had become a ZOMBIE... Half of her body was uncovered (NO SKIN)..how they let this cat go with that wound in the first place is questionable if not cruel. Everyone knows the emotions of pet owners involved in these serious situations must be treated fairly professionally and diligently. We had an appointment with them and we heard them lying again and again. This is what they do very well and it’s been Eight days and we haven’t received any updates from them.BUSY with making stuff up for not taking responsibility and blaming others. COST: Around 5000€ for making my cat go sooner than far possibly expected. On our last visit to MCD emergency which looked like apocalypse to me, the night-shift interns were horrified by what they saw. They couldn’t believe how the surgical team had handled this case. And now, we have to live with the knowledge that it wasn’t cancer that killed her—it was post-surgery care. Postcare for such a surgery that should have never been done this way.

We are grieving, we are broken, and we are angry. Was this all about money? Negligence? A complete disregard for human emotion? Whatever the reason, the result is the same: Mamoosh is suffering, and our family is drowning in pain.

She could have had more time. She could have lived longer. But instead, we are here, watching her fade away, knowing it didn’t have to be like this.

Serious cases demand serious care. They demand transparency, caution, and above all, humanity. We got none of that. What we got was pain, loss, and regret.

This is not just about dissatisfaction. This is about a fundamental failure in patient care. And I need you to know—really know—what you have done to us!!!

I'm writing here with a very broken heart after a visit in this clinic with our cat Szafirka.She was throwing up with blood and had a bloody stool.I think everyone would agree it needs an emergency visit in the hospital.So my boyfriend brought Her to Evidensia in the early evening.They took Her blood test and saw Her liver values are elevated, yet they didn't do the ultrasound immediately.They said She can stay there the whole night which will cost 1500 euros and they will do the ultrasound in the morning or we can do this with the regular vet.Our cat and the beloved family member was very sick and it looks like you wanted Her to stay there overnight and do the necessary ultrasound in the morning, so you can get more money. Otherwise what's the reason for not doing this immediately?Our cat has passed away in the afternoon.You have blood on your hands!Which kind of hospital are you?How can anyone trust to bring their pet there?Szafirka was our family and the best thing we had and now three people are depressed and left with a broken heart.Shame on you Evidensia!We are all still in disbelief.There are no words that would describe how we feel!We will miss Szafirka forever, she was our angel.You should do everything to save lives and everything that was possible at the moment to make sure she stays alive! If you did everything that was necessary straight away, she would still be with us 😢

Onze boomer Famke is geopereerd aan een patella luxatie. De mensen van het MCD waren daarbij allemaal heel vriendelijk voor ons en erg lief voor Famke. Er werd duidelijk verteld over wat er allemaal ging gebeuren. Na de operatie kwam de chirurg nog uitleg geven d.m.v. een röntgenfoto. Het advies was om daarna met Famke naar fysiotherapie te gaan. Aanvankelijk twijfelden wij of we dat wel moesten doen met name omdat we beelden zagen van een grote waterbak waarin de dieren dan moesten lopen. Wij waren bang dat Famke daar erg bang voor zou zijn en misschien in paniek zou raken. Toch hebben we besloten om ervoor te gaan en daar hebben we zeker geen spijt van gekregen. De fysiotherapeute Louise ging heel rustig en lief met Famke om. Wij leerden van haar oefeningen die we elke dag thuis hebben gedaan. We zijn in totaal vier keer bij Louise geweest en elke keer zagen we dat het pootje van Famke sterker werd. Verder was het fijn om te kunnen sparren en advies te vragen.

En die waterwalker? Dat bleek helemaal geen probleem voor Famke. Louise liet haar rustig wennen en letterlijk stap voor stap ging het steeds beter. En natuurlijk hielpen de lekkere snoepjes ook.
