Don't do it. I get that Ranzijn is supposed to be affordable and people think of it as a good option, but when it comes to it, they will not care about your animals.
They were my cat's regular clinic until she needed urgent surgery, as advised by Ranzijn, but they "didn't have the time for it". Being told, smiling politely, that your pet, who is essentially your family member, is going to die unless she gets her leg amputated immediately, but they don't have time for it.. it's shocking and devastating.
They called around other clinics (or so they said) but never got back to us about a free spot. I took it in my own hands to find her a new vet the very next day, which is almost impossible with the vet shortage in NL. Thank god i managed to find an equally busy vet with the compassion to reschedule a routine surgery in order to save my cat. I then spent 2+ hours on the phone (emergency line) trying to reach Ranzijn so they would send me her file and her new vet could quickly start the amputation, and I never got through to them. I had to physically show up at the Ranzijn clinic to demand the file, since they didn't pick up my calls, nor replied to my emails. This was a traumatising, stressful situation, made so much worse because of their unprofessionalism and downright callousness.
I wouldn't recommend Ranzijn to my worst enemy.
