We hadden onszelf veel leed en euro's kunnen besparen door een paar maanden eerder naar een andere dierenarts te gaan. De Stad & Land kliniek in Landsmeer is wél goed. De aanpak daar is wél kundig en effectief.

I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic: On Monday, the doctor examined my cat, took a urine sample, and diagnosed crystals. At that time, the cat was urinating in small spots all over the house for 2days. The vet gave one ampicillin injection and some painkillers for five days, which cost €156. Three days later, when we called for advice, he only sold us Purina urinary food for another €25 During that entire week, we called non-stop—explaining that the cat was staying in the litter box, refusing to eat or move. Every time we called, the assistant was the one answering, and no matter what symptoms we described, we were repeatedly told to just give him painkillers and wait because he would get better. If we had followed this advice, the cat would have died. By the time we went back to the vet on the fourth day, the cat was in critical condition. He wasn’t eating, had been vomiting, and we found him collapsed on the floor, completely blocked and was barely responsive. At the clinic, they cleaned his urethra and provided emergency treatment, but they charged us €500 for it. After that, they sent us to another clinic, where we had to pay an additional €1,000 for two days of observation and treatment. One week later, we had to return to the vet for castration, which will cost another €500. In total, we are being charged almost €2,500 for a problem that could have been solved on Monday if the cat had received proper treatment. Their poor communication, lack of responsibility, and refusal to take action put my cat’s life in danger. I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.
